TRASHMONKEYS
This German / British Trio found themselves supporting Link Wray only a few month after releasing their first eponymously titled mini LP on Karate Klub Meier Records. A change of labels later had them supporting The Cramps, Rocket from the Crypt, Hellacopters, Hives and many more.
An extra man and a further label change ( „Clubtown“ LP on Acid Jazz ) won them international acclaim and saw them with an NME Single of the week ( Sundays ) – which was also chosen as the theme music for the Italian Show „Le liene“.
Then Trashmonkeys found their current Label LADO and released „The Maker“ to worldwide critical acclaim resulting in a 2 week Tour of Japan in the end of October/ November 2005.
„Favourite Enemy“: With less hammond organ but more synthesizers and a 2nd guitar, Trashmonkeys have taken their sound and let it grow. „Favourite Enemy“ is finished, available from the 18th of August and it‘s worth it.
